Festivals and Activities October 4th and 5th. Orchard Fest Every year Shihata's Wisconsin Apple Orchard holds their annual Orchard Fest. The fest always takes place the first weekend in October. There are many great activities for the whole family to do on a great fall weekend. There are free wagon rides all day long, which take you on a brief tour of our scenic orchard. If you see a great spot to pick apples on the wagon ride, you can go back and pick the apples yourself for a memorable family experience. The petting zoo is a fun filled attraction for the kids. Come and pet horses, donkeys, rabbits and even a llama. For the grown-ups, take a walk through the quaint Apple House. The Apple House is filled with fresh apples, crafts and other apple products. If you are hungry while at the Orchard Fest, there are many free samples of products that are sold in the Apple House as well as a food stand.
